Annette Funicello is an American performer and actress. Her most famous role was as one of the original "Mouseketeers" on the 'Mickey Mouse Club.' When she was in her teens Annette began singing and she became famous for her hit songs, 'TallPaul' as well as Pineapple Princess'. Annette was born in Utica to Italian parents. As a child she was prone to shyness. Since she wanted to pursue an enviable career in the field of entertainment, Annette began acting and performing.
